First Sale Doctrine for the movie Clifford the Big Red Dog: King Clifford - Be My Big Red Valentine: Money 4 Movies is an online retailer and legal owner of the physical copies of movies it sells, rents and exchanges such as the movie Clifford the Big Red Dog: King Clifford - Be My Big Red Valentine. The promotion and advertisement of all movies, such as Clifford the Big Red Dog: King Clifford - Be My Big Red Valentine DVD, advertised for sale or rental through the display of copies of box covers, including titles, actors names, producers, and the use of excerpts, synopses and previews of the movies is protected under the "first sale doctrine". 17 U.S.C. § 109 (a). The first sale doctrine protects the buyer's Money 4 Movies interest in goods it has purchased for resale and rental of such DVD movies and videos as Clifford the Big Red Dog: King Clifford - Be My Big Red Valentine Movie.
